PCI Data Collect Card on FPGA

With the rapid development of information technology and electron technology, computer data collection technology comes of age. Because of the connatural bug of ISA cards, ISA cards will be replaced by PCI data collection system gradually. In order to simplify the structure and increase the reliability of PCI data collection cards, PCI data collection cards system is researched and realized.The theorem and methods of PCI data collection cards to specified target devices are researched, hard circuits of PCI data collection cards are devised based on FPGA, SOPC system is constructed by inserting IP core and user logic parts of target devices in FPGA, Verilog language is used to design and realize inner data collection and administration of FPGA, register memory of data administration, circuit of FIFO data buffer series and so on. ModelSim is used to simulate PCI data collection cards system. Hardware circuits of PCB board are devised and whole PCI data collection cards system is realized.To meet the need of software of data collection cards system, the theorem and methods of WDM device drive module, virtual oscillograph and virtual logic instrument are researched. WDM device drive programs is developed based on DriverStudio+Windows DDK for XP+VC6 system, virtual oscillograph and logic instrument are realized. System test results show that the design of data collection cards system is right, it can run steadily and function and index satisfy the design demand.
